About The Anandita
The layout of our four separate bedroom pavilions has been conceived to maximise proximity to nature, and facilitate friends or family interaction in the social spaces.
Designed by Bali-based Australian architect John Lincoln - renowned for his work on the Four Seasons resort Hotel Jimbaran, the Westin Hotel Nusa Dua, as well as a number of five star hotels and private villas in and around Bali - The Anandita villa was built with a vision to create an oasis of peace and natural harmony and provides you with the opportunity to reunite body and soul with the environment as well as socialise with friends or family.
The large open living areas, tall vaulted ceilings and the overflowing lotus pond by the dining pavilion provide a great sense of space and freedom. From the balé, dining room and every pavilion, one can hear the sound of birdsong, the waves slowly rolling onto the beach and the wind gently caressing the palm leaves. Built with precious woods from Kalimantan, white Palimanan stone from Bali and locally crafted terrazzo, The Anandita uses noble natural materials for a modern, yet highly classic luxurious architecture.
On waking each morning, and opening the curtains of your private bedroom pavilion, the pool and beach are simultaneously revealed over the lush green lawn. Our manicured grounds, conceived by landscape designer Malcolm Williams, boast frangipani, pink and orange bougainvillea, as well as flamboyant trees whose striking red flowers bloom once a year.
The lightly salted free-form pool, built with large natural indigo and earthy-toned stones imported from India, blends with its surroundings and confers a river-like feeling. Antique primitive art sculptures from Sumba and wooden totems from Irian Jaya dot the gardens with a sense of mystery.
Staying at The Anandita offers a level of privacy that is difficult to find anywhere else. The one and a half hectares of ocean-facing land, and the white-sand beach that fringes it, are all yours.
Relax and stimulate your senses at The Anandita.
During your stay at The Anandita, you will be pampered by a team of 20 dedicated and discreet members of staff. Our villa manager and his team will tailor the experience to your every need and desire.
The Anandita Chef will shape every meal and dish around your requirements, providing a choice of Asian, Western or international meals. The breads and pastries served at the villa are home-baked. High tea, as well as beach or poolside snacks and cocktails are available around the clock. Throughout your stay, our crew will strive to help you create enduring memories by organising soirées to mark special occasions such as birthdays. Such events can include private fireworks from the beach and live bands or dance performances.
Guests can also spend the night beneath the stars at an outdoor cinema while indulging in artisanal ice cream crafted from the villa's electric ice cream maker, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients such as coconut, mango, and pineapple.
Spa treatments, serviced by third party therapists, are available at any time in the villa’s own massage marquee, or in the privacy of your bedroom.
Explore nature, discover local culture, and revitalise yourself with The Anandita’s wide choice of sports and activities.
Built on the edge of the Sira peninsula, The Anandita benefits from the wonders of one of the island’s most beautiful ecosystems. Just 200 metres from the beach via sea kayaks, you can swim amongst amazing multicoloured fauna and flora.
On top of the superb ecosystem, we also offer many opportunities to discover other natural settings around the island, to learn about the traditions and culture of the people of Lombok, and to plan adventure, sports or recreational activities.
